Hey Friends,

Today was a blessed day for me, and I prayed that each an every one of you had one as well. I thank God that I was privileged to wake up this morning, healthy and alive with energy and joy.

Today as I read through a novel called "Crank," I began to think on my dreams and aspirations, and as you already know, I want to be a writer. But what was so extraordinary about this novel was that it was written in a Free-Verse poetic style that was so awesome. Before reading this novel, I never realized that you could write a novel in Free-verse, and that became one of my goals: Before I die, I must write at least one novel in Free-Verse.

I had no idea that you could use words in such a powerful display of lyrical beauty and grace, yet discuss the topic of Crank and how it can take over your mind. The author also formed the different parts of the novel in slants, heart shapes, cross shapes, etc, to make it very interesting. At some point I will write some free-verse poetry of my own and place it here to be critiqued by my awesome audience: YOU!

I know that you have dreams and aspirations that you long to be fulfilled. Dreams that flow through your blood stream, seep out of your pores and onto a smooth piece of paper, or an unpolished sketch pad, or a lustrous chopping board, or even the canvas of your own mind. Don't allow fear or doubt to distort your miraculous visions of life, because God made you a dreamer. Know that anything that you desire to do according to the Will of the Lord will prevail successfully: will come true with a bang: will blow your mind when it comes to past.

Psalms 37:4 says:Delight yourself in the LORD
and he will give you the desires of your heart.(NIV)

Jesus wants to give you the life that you have always dreamed of and more, A life that cannot even be fathomed. Accept HIM into your heart you mind and your soul. I know that you are longing for an anchor, someone in your life that's got your back when things start to get rough, through good and bad times. Know that HE LOVES YOU, more than you can even understand.

But remember that nothing that you want to do with your life (be it according to the will of God),is out of reach. Paul once told the Philippian Church: "I can do all things through Christ that strengthen me," and you can.

Don't be discouraged, Live life and be blessed. Be a dreamer, and don't allow anyone to tell you that your dreams aren't realistic or logical, because if you really think about life, life isn't logical or realistic all of the time. Keep your standards high, and don't settle for less, because you know what? God wants His Best for your life. Believe in Him, worship Him, allow Him into your life, and you will see abundant blessings, abundant peace, abundant mercies, what ever you need!

This is my first blog, and I am so excited because I have a voice that I would love for people to listen to. This is also psuedo journalism training for me, since I am enamored by writing. Do any of you love to write, because I would love to chat with you. I am currently in college working on my Bachelors Degree in English (Creative Writing Specialization), and Minoring in Media Studies (Journalism).

I called this Blog "Butterfly," because I am slowly but surely peeling from my fear induced cocoon, grabbing life by the throat, and becoming the butterly that I was meant to be. I am 19 1/2 and I am finally ready to truly live life. A life that is filled with:

Excitement

Joy

Peace.

And I know that by God's awesome grace I will win this game called life! Stay tuned for more from me, because I am determined to fill this blog with awesome info, and I hope and pray that somewhere out there in the mega-bited, fast paced world of the internet, I will impact someone with my words, will connect with other souls, young and old, who are running the race of life, and trying to live the best life, through Christ!

Psalms 91:1 NIV: He who dwells in the shelter of the Most High, will rest in the shadow of the Almighty.

Remember that there is no problem that is too big for God to handle, and that you have an Awesome God that has shouldered your every burden so that you can live in freedom. Live Free, not in Condenmation. Accept Jesus Christ into your Life, and all His Peace that surpasses all understanding to rule your hearts and minds.
